Protect your health and comfort

air purifiers new yorkOne thing that we’ve learned over the past few years was how important the safety and quality of the air that we breathe is.

You can help keep your home’s air safe, clean, and pleasant with an iWave air purification system installed by NOCO. We offer a great price, expert installation, and a three-year warranty!

What makes iWave a superior air purification system? For starters, it’s maintenance-free and self-cleaning. It does not require replacement parts. All of this makes having clean indoor air easy!

The iWave produces ions that trap and destroy bacteria, mold, viruses, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by removing their hydrogen molecules. The iWave also traps dirt, dust, allergens, and particles your HVAC system’s air filter did not. It also neutralizes odors caused by smoke, cooking odors, and other smells.

Tips for maintaining indoor air quality

As we face cooler weather coming and spending more time indoors, there are ways you can help keep your home’s indoor air quality good.

Have ductwork professionally cleaned. Dust, dirt, pollen, and even mold can accumulate in your ductwork and be carried into your living area, lowering the quality of air inside your home.

Clean registers and vents. Vacuum, then clean with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. This keeps accumulated dust, dirt, and pollen from circulating.

Change your filter. Add a reminder to your calendar to check your HVAC air filter once a month and change it as needed.

Clean exhaust fans. Turn off the electricity. Remove and wash the covers. Dry them completely before replacing them.

Focus on floors. Go beyond the usual quick pass of the floors. Thoroughly vacuum and mop hard-surface floors. If you have wall-to-wall carpeting, schedule a professional cleaning. Take the time to suck away cobwebs, vacuum the crevices and between cushions of upholstered furniture, and vacuum draperies if you’re not taking them to be cleaned.

Do a thorough fall housecleaning. Dust and wash walls, windows, trim, baseboards, and blinds.

Remove clutter. Those papers piled up along with all your other clutter are collecting dust as you avoid dealing with them. By doing some purging, you’ll breathe easier as well as be rid of the stress of looking at the mess!
